During this time, we will not be allowing clients to enter the building - all intake and discharge will be provided through curbside only. Please park in the parking lot at the intersection of 20th Avenue West/West Superior Street (across from the JS Print Group), walk to the front of the Twin Ports Spay/Neuter, and form a socially distanced line to await check-in procedures. DO NOT PARK IN FRONT OF THE CLINIC AS THIS AREA IS STRICTLY A BIKE LANE - FOR THE COURTESY OF OUR STAFF AND OTHER CLIENTELE SMOKING WILL NOT BE PERMITTED IN LINE. All pets should remain in your vehicle until check-in is complete and you are directed by a staff member to retrieve your pet(s). A cloth face mask will be required for all during all curbside interactions. If you do not have a cloth face mask, one will be supplied at an additional cost of $3.00. If you do not adhere to our requirements, you will be refused service.

 

Pets that are 5 years of age or older are REQUIRED to have pre-surgical blood work performed prior to surgery. If your pet(s) is over 5 years of age and pre-surgical blood work has not been performed/provided, they will be declined. Please contact Twin Ports Spay/Neuter at medical@northlandspayneuter.org prior to your pet's surgery to set up an appointment to obtain the pre-surgical blood work.

Curbside check-in is between 8:00-8:30A.M. - If you arrive after the designated time there is a chance you may be assessed a late fee or your pet(s) could be declined for the day – if this occurs you will have to reschedule your appointment and the $50.00 appointment deposit will be non-transferable/non-refundable.

 

Again, upon arrival please park in the parking lot at the intersection 20th Ave W/Superior Street and walk to the front door to form a socially distanced line. A staff member will confirm your appointment and provide an admission form if you have not already printed one off prior to your appointment. Please fill the admission form out completely in blue or black ink and mark any additional services you would like us to perform at the time of the procedure. If you do not you mark a service you would like performed, it will not be performed as we do not have authorization. You will be assisted in the order you arrive. We ask that you please leave your pet(s) in the vehicle until the check-in process has been completed - please be patient and we appreciate your understanding during this novel time. Upon your departure, you will be provided with a copy of our post-operative care/instructions (also attached to this email). Please read through this and note any questions/comments/concerns you may want to discuss with a Twin Ports Spay/Neuter representative prior to the discharge process.

 

If your pet(s) is 12 weeks or older and is current with the Rabies vaccine, you will need to bring the Rabies Certificate at the time of curbside check-in or you may have the administering veterinary clinic fax the Rabies Certificate to 218-623-6719 prior to your appointment.

 

THE RABIES CERTIFICATE MUST BE PROVIDED/PRESENT AT THE TIME OF CHECK-IN

TWIN PORTS SPAY/NEUTER STAFF WILL NOT CALL CLINICS OR WAIT FOR A FAX TO VERIFY RABIES VACCINATION STATUS

 

Please note that we do not accept the Rabies Tag as proof of rabies vaccination. If your pet(s) is 12 weeks or older and not current with the Rabies vaccine or you have not provided the Rabies Certificate at the time of curbside check-in, we will administer the vaccine at the time of surgery for an additional $15.00/vaccination- NO EXCEPTIONS!

 

The person dropping off the pet(s) must be authorized on the account prior to drop-off. If someone other than yourself drops-off your pet(s) and is not authorized on your account, your pet(s) will be declined – if this occurs you will have to reschedule your appointment and the $50.00/appointment deposit will be non-transferable/non-refundable.

 

Dogs should be allowed to urinate/defecate prior to transportation to the clinic and must be on leash. Please remove all leashes and/or collars prior to admission into the building – Twin Ports Spay/Neuter will provide and slip lead for admission into the building. Dogs will be discharged the same day as surgery (usually between 12:00 and 3:30 P.M., however, this time can vary depending on how your pet(s) recovers from anesthesia and will be designated by Twin Ports Spay/Neuter staff). A Twin Ports Spay/Neuter representative will contact you during the day of surgery to discuss any physical exam findings, answer any questions, finalize payment, and set up a designated discharge time. When you arrive to pick up your pet(s), please call or text 218-591-8045 and a Twin Ports Spay/Neuter representative will bring your pet(s) out to you.

Cats must arrive in a clean kennel that can be securely fastened - we recommend placing one cat per kennel. If the cat arrives without a kennel or a kennel that is not able to be securely fastened, we will provide a cardboard carrier for an additional $6.00. If the cat arrives in a kennel that is soiled or not adequately clean, additional cleaning fees may be applied. Please remove all leashes and/or collar from your pet(s) prior to admission into the building. Twin Ports Spay/Neuter will email you during the day of surgery to finalize payment - when you receive this email it will indicate your pet(s) has completed their surgical procedure and is in recovery, please use the link to finalize your payment prior to discharge. Cats will be group discharged the day following surgery at 10:00A.M. sharp - please arrive promptly to discharge, if you are not present at the beginning of discharge you will be assessed a late fee.  When you arrive to pick up your pet(s), please approach a Twin Ports Spay/Neuter representative.

 

Payment is due in full at the time of service - we do not offer payment plans. We will be accepting cash and all electronic payment in the form of Visa, Discover, MasterCard, and American Express - we will not accept checks or care credit.

APPOINTMENTS CANCELLED WITH LESS THAN 24 HOUR NOTICE WILL BE CHARGED $50.00 FROM DEPOSIT AMOUNT.
