Our Staff

Tammy Schilling, DVM

A Duluth native, Dr. Schilling grew up on a farm where her family raised dairy cattle and hogs.  She attended the University of Minnesota-Duluth and earned her undergraduate degree in Biology.  After her time at UMD, Dr. Schilling attended the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota, she graduated in 2008.


Dr. Schilling keeps incredibly busy between her time spent at Twin Ports Spay/Neuter and spending time with her family. 

Chelsea Bartels, Certified Veterinary Technician/Practice Manager

Chelsea is a Minnesota native with a degree in Veterinary Technology from Duluth Business University. She was a member of the Medical Staff at Animal Allies Humane Society for four years before she joined the Twin Port Spay/Neuter team in January of 2015.


Chelsea has a very lively household which includes two Great Danes (Hutson, and Finley), two cats (Melon and Carlos), and a chinchilla (Cous Cous - "a pet so nice we named him twice").  Away from work, Chelsea loves spending time with family and adventuring with her husband Josh, son Jonathan, and two Great Danes.

Megan Stonemark, Office Manager/Vet Assistant

Megan was born in Illinois and has lived in four different states due to her father serving in the military.  Before transferring to Fond Du Lac Tribal and Community College, Megan attended Duluth Business University and studied Veterinary Technology for a year and a half.  


When not at work, Megan loves spending time with her family and her "fur babies." Megan has a three German Shepherd Dogs (Tango, Kaija, and Zula), one Border Collie Mix (Sir Wigglesworth AKA Old Man), seven cats (Ria, Chilly, Ice, Yeti, Mavis, Blackie Chan, and THE CRITTER)  and 2 quarter horse's (Sophie & Letty), 6 bunnies (Pancake, Meatball, Waffle, and Baby Beans), 1 mouse (Pizza), and a flock of chickens and ducks.  She really enjoys working with animals (and owning them apparently) and joined the  Twin Ports Spay/Neuter team May 2015.
