Spay/Neuter surgeries are performed Monday through Thursday.
No surgeries are performed on Friday - Wellness Appointments Only
Animals must arrive at the clinic at 8:00 A.M. for check in - if you arrive after the designated time there is a chance you may be assessed a late fee or your animal could be declined for the day and you will have to reschedule your appointment.
Please leave your animal in your car until you have completed the check-in process.
All dogs must be on a leash and all cats must be in a carrier (we recommend one cat per kennel).
If you do not have a carrier or a carrier that can be securely fastened for your cat, you will be required to purchase a cardboard carrier from Twin Ports/Spay/Neuter for $6.00. If the cat arrives in a kennel that is not adequately clean, additional cleaning fees may be applied.
Feral cats must be in a live trap or they will be declined for surgery.
Due to our strict schedule, your pet will be assess a late fee or will not be admitted if you arrive after 8:30 A.M.
The admission process usually takes 30 minutes to complete.
Animals undergoing only spay/neuter are discharged as follows:
Dogs are discharged at 3:00 P.M. the same day as surgery.
Cats are discharged at 7:30 A.M. the morning following surgery.
If you are not able to pick-up your animal, you may either designate someone else to come pick-up the animal for you or other arrangements can be made with Twin Ports Spay/Neuter - additional fess may apply.
The discharge process usually takes 30 minutes to complete.
